Null Modular n-1: Flat-packed plywood Eurorack cases

News

Neat and easy to build Eurorack cases in 48 or 84 HP for a single row of nicely presented modules.

These look really nice. Made from a 12mm plywood frame and a 3mm plywood back, they come together in a beautiful, standup modular row. I appreciate the incorporated handles and how nicely they’d fit into a modest setup.

The whole thing is designed to slot together without the need of any tools and gives you 48 or 84 HP to play with. There’s no power supply or anything, just the case and rails. There’s 93mm of depth so you could add an internal power supply or a power supply module or maybe something simple like the USB-based ChikiPower from Befaco. I have one of those – I need to do a video on it!

Null Modular is based in Los Angeles and was founded by Meghan Hui. They are taking preorders now and hope to ship in May. The 48 HP case is $98; the 84 HP version is $128.
